How do I get to Sky and Stone Tented Camps?
We are located in the Twyfelfontein area of Damaraland, Namibia. The camp can be accessed by road from Khorixas (D2612, Twyfelfontein) approximately 90km or we can arrange a transfer from the nearest airstrip.
What is the best time to visit?
Damaraland is a year-round destination. The dry season (May–October) offers cooler temperatures and is ideal for game viewing, while the wet season (November–April) brings dramatic skies and green landscapes.
Can I see desert-adapted elephants?
Yes! The Twyfelfontein area is one of the best places to see desert-adapted elephants. Our expert guides have an excellent track record of finding these magnificent animals during our Dry River Drive.
Is the camp suitable for families?
Absolutely. We offer twin and queen tented suites and can accommodate additional beds easily, perfect for families. Children of all ages are welcome, and our activities can be tailored for younger guests.
